Snow day

Although we've yet to see any real precipitation in my area, I'm pleased to be home this afternoon still in my pajamas from last night and with "wintery mix" pattering away on my window pane. I love little more than a cozy day at home, and the weather forecast promises a whole weekend of that. So far today I've drunk copious amounts of tea, finished season two of Downton Abbey, taken a snowy walk and given Casey more than his share of tummy rubs. Having M home would make this day perfect, but in a few hours he will be and for now I'm enjoying my alone time.
I had mentioned last week that I was cutting back on the shows on my TiVo list and I'm surprised and pleased to say that I truly haven't missed the catty drama-- drama is the sort of thing that becomes much more enjoyable when it's set in early twentieth century England, anyway.

I hope to spend today crafting, because Valentine's day really snuck up on me even though I knew it was coming and I've yet to make even one card. This afternoon I look forward to taking a long, relaxing bath and beginning season 3 of Downton. Ideally I'd also like to catch up on reading blogs and working on my own because I feel I've been neglecting it recently. I hope you're all having a lovely Friday, and staying warm if you have any wintery weather coming your way this weekend.

Sounds like a nice relaxing afternoon. No snow for us this weekend. We finally have a little sunshine so I'm not complaining :)

Hope you're having a nice weekend home after the storm and you didn't have to do too much shoveling :)

I got out of work early Friday and it was so nice! The storm really hit us hard around midnight up here - we got about 15 inches! I love your hair photo and of course Casey!

Your wintery day sounds perfect! It is not that cold here but after a long (but good) day, I am ready to cozy up on the couch as well! Currently going through Gilmore Girls for the first time and am on my last season!
