Tired

Thank the heavens, Friday has arrived! Isn't it strange how sometimes a four day workweek feels longer than a five day?
That ish cray.
If you can't already tell by my unusual vocabulary, I didn't get much sleep last night.
Our upstairs neighbor's bedroom doubles as her home office and girlfriend was on the phone until after 11 last night chatting away. It reminds me of the adult characters in Charlie Brown because I can't actually make out what she's saying, just the "WAHH WAHH WAHH WAH WAHH." Even with my sound machine on it was impossible to sleep so I popped a couple of Benadryl and had some crazy dreams. One involved receiving a spam email asking for $100, then receiving a $100 dollar bill from Haiti with a note that said, "See, I told you this would work" which somehow put me in danger because I spent the rest of the dream running for my life. I woke up a few times after that because Casey would not stop licking my elbow. Every time I moved it away I heard his tail go "thump, thump, thump" against the bed, then he'd start licking it again so I guess in his dog brain we were playing a game.
Anyway, the point of this rambling, nonsensical paragraph is that Mama is tired
Casey is too; this is how I left him in bed this morning:
It's supposed to start snowing here late this afternoon and into the night, but apparently it's just a "light" snow, not the blizzard I was hoping would send me home from work early. I just think that if we have to deal with frigid temperatures we should at least have the benefits of being snowed in.
On a {sort-of} related note, I ordered a "real" winter coat yesterday because I've needed one for years and it was on sale, but it's not arriving until next week, so I guess it's better that there won't be a crazy snow storm this weekend{side note: the coat went from the warehouse to FedEx to USPS, so even though it's literally 10 minutes from my house, it won't arrive until Monday-- please explain that to me}. By this time next week I plan on being snuggled in this about 90% of the time, because I love nothing more than I love being cozy:

Now I'm just crossing my fingers that the size I ordered fits because even though I'm a Medium 99.9% of the time, the 0.1% I'm not is when I purchase a final sale item. I'm obsessed with this site btw, and if I win the lottery I'm going on a shopping spree.
Even though I'm pumped for the weekend, I don't really have weekend plans besides cleaning the bathroom. I do have a mostly full bottle of red moscato in the fridge and my husband just informed me that 15 episodes of Roseanne are set to record on Saturday, so there is that. I've also been meaning to start Project Life for a year now, and since it's still January I think I have a decent shot of 2013 being my inaugural year. I know how to live it up y'all!
What are your weekend plans?

There are a bunch of new faces around here, which is exciting and also slightly nerve-wracking, as I can't think of anything interesting to write about. I would love it if you'd comment and leave me your blog URL so I can get to know you! {That goes for those of you who may have been hanging around for awhile now, too}.

If you haven't already, don't forget to enter my PetsLoveToys.com giveaway over on ACWOM AND the $100 gift card to the store of your choice giveaway happening here thanks to my lovely sidebar ladies. Both end on Monday!

Did they ship that coat using FedEx Smartpost? BECAUSE I HATE SMARTPOST. FedEx ships it to your nearest post office and then they SIT on it. I've ordered 2 things recently that shipped using that method, and they both took almost a month to get here, no joke. HATE.

My big puffy coat is a little too big..which I hate. I hope yours fits!

The kids were only there for 3 days this week. O M G, it was still the longest week ever.

You and I seem to have the same routine of waitforFriday, waitforFriday, sleepsleepsleep. :)
